UQiYO (JP)

Japanese music project UQiYO started by Yuqi Kato and Satoshi Shimada in 2010 and well versed in rock, ethnic music, and jazz. The meaning of their name “ukiyo”(a floating world) reflects that their music blends in with everyday life, while its ‘sound image’ and ‘philosophy’ transports the listener to the extraordinary.
